How to avoid having to do ironing

I really hate ironing. I'm just not very good at it. Some people say that they get a real sense of satisfaction in ironing. For me it is a relief to finish the ironing and I look at my pile of ironed clothes and think "that will do". Whenever my family put on clothes that I've ironed, they are rolling around play fighting or tickling each other within about five minutes and the clothes get wrinkled, so what's the point?

So I do iron but I do everything possible to avoid it and to make the pile as small as possible. If I can get away without ironing something, I will. Here are a few tips which helps to prevent me coming a slave to the steam iron.

So now I've explained why I hate it, what are my favourite tips for having to avoid ironing?

White vinegar
A cup of white vinegar added to your wash's rinse water will help relax the creases. It doesn't leave a smell.

Add some tennis balls to the dryer
Tennis balls or dryer balls help your clothes dry faster by moving the air around and therefore avoiding your getting too creased

Use a tumble dryer
I’m not suggesting drying everything in the dryer but after being hung outside, ten minutes in the dryer does wonders for getting rid of wrinkles!

Fold clothes directly as soon as they are dry
If I leave a clean load of clothes lying on the couch or in the hamper for a day or two, when I come back, they are ridiculously wrinkled. Fold them as soon as the dryer is finished.

Hang clothes rather than folding them in a drawer
Clothes get shuffled around in a drawer. If you have the space, hang as much as you can.
